Sherman Associates, city officials celebrate opening of 205 Bark dog park

On December 3, Sherman Associates cut the leash at 205 Bark, a new public dog park located next door to The Vicinity apartments in East Town. The event highlighted the project that was a public-private collaboration and included remarks by City Council Members Lisa Goodman and Steve Fletcher, mpls downtown council director of downtown partnerships Dan Collison, and Sherman Associates team members George Sherman, Andy Bollig and Lucy Bronson.

The event featured an official leash-cutting and welcomed members of the local community to bring their four-legged friends. Hot dogs, yellow snow cones, coffee and cider, and pet portraits were all offered at The Vicinity during the festivities.

Here are a few photos from the event highlighting the newest dog park in downtown Minneapolis.
