november quarterly forum highlights development committee progress in 2017

The mpls downtown council hosted their 2025 Plan Quarterly Forum discussing the development committee’s efforts and focus on November 9 in downtown Mpls. The event, hosted by Shindig Event Spaces and sponsored by JLL, included a program and networking focusing on several key projects and initiatives that are helping re-shape downtown’s development including the 2025 plan’s efforts to add office space, attract and retain businesses, and double the downtown residential population.

Presenters at the forum included:

  • Ann Rinde: vice president, CBRE – office/hotel task force’s work on attracting and retaining businesses and talent
  • Bethany Bowers: regional property manager, Lincoln Property Company – Explore Downtown Living event
  • Dan Collison: director of downtown partnerships, mpls downtown council – downtown community partnerships
  • David Frank: interim executive director, CPED – Nicollet retail task force work
