MN Orchestra celebrates opening of 115th concert season at The Commons

The Minnesota Orchestra celebrated the opening of its 115th concert season with a free concert on Tuesday, September 19 at The Commons in East Town. The concert was led by Music Director Osmo Vänskä. Vänskä led the Orchestra in a mix of classical works, including Smetana’s The Moldau, a series of Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances, Sibelius’ Finlandia and John Williams’ March from Raiders of the Lost Ark. The event packed The Commons and offered a new, unique experience for both the Minnesota Orchestra and its audience.
