On the morning of Friday, June 23rd, many members of the downtown mpls community gathered at Kieran’s Irish Pub to say “Good Morning Minneapolis!” Those who participated in the event took part in networking, enjoyed breakfast, and got an inside look at some of the large-scale sporting events coming to town soon, including this summer’s X Games, Super Bowl LII, and the 2019 NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four. Produced by the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce, mpls downtown council, and Meet Minneapolis, good morning mpls hosted a panel of four speakers. The panelists included Brittany Allen, the Event Coordinator of the City of Minneapolis, Brent Foerster, Senior Vice President, Destination Sales of Meet Minneapolis, Scott Gerlicher, Commander of the Minneapolis Police Department, and Mike Alder of the ESPN X Games.
