Life Time Fitness Torchlight 5K corporate challenge

The Healthy Way of Life Challenge, where corporate groups compete for local bragging rights and top prizes, is a complimentary program open to non-elite, 5K distance participants. All team members must be registered for the Life Time Torchlight 5K under your corporate team name with your corporate team registration code.

  • Details include:
    • Teams must consist of at least 10 individuals
    • Team scores will be determined by adding the scoring members’ age-graded percentages*
    • Team scores will consist of the five highest scoring participants
    • Teams with fewer than ten people will NOT be eligible for competition
    • Teams with more than 10 members must create additional teams
    • Example: If Allina brings 100 athletes, they could create upwards of 10 teams, each with unique names (e.g. “Allina Fast Team, Allina Beer Team, etc.”).
    • Top three performing teams with the highest combined scores will receive awards with the 1st place team earning the Healthy Way of Life Challenge trophy.
    • A fundraising competition to see which team can raise the most money for our official charity partner, Mile in My Shoes, with the winning team receiving a separate award. More info on Mile in My Shoes and their mission can be found here: http://www.mileinmyshoes.mn/.
    • Additionally, a monetary donation will be made to Mile in My Shoes in the name of the top three teams in the following amounts: 1st – $500, 2nd- $250, 3rd – $125
    • Team members are also eligible for individual awards, within their respective age group category.
    • Healthy Way of Life Challenge teams are not eligible to also participate in the Torchlight Team Challenge.

Healthy Way of Life Challenge inclusion, names and rosters can be submitted to the Challenge Coordinator via email: mkuzara@lt.life and must be submitted one week prior to race day.

*Scoring may change due to timers. If scoring changes we will let the team captains know in advance.
