Join the Loft for the return of Wordplay on July 8, 2023!  In 2019, the Loft Literary Center hosted Minnesota’s biggest book celebration, a festival for readers and writers with over 10,000 attendees! This summer it’s back and in person! Come down to East Downtown Minneapolis on July 8th for a day-long streetfest featuring outdoor and indoor stages with engaging panels and readings, book and vendor markets, food trucks, and so much more! This event is focused on the Loft’s 2023 theme: Narrative Power, inspired by Toni Cade Bambara’s quote, “The job of the writer is to make the revolution irresistible.” This is the place to be for book lovers and anyone looking to be inspired to create a better future for generations to come.
