Four 20th-century American composers make unique statements in response to these questions in a sweeping and breathtakingly cinematic program. Plus, experience the Minnesota Orchestra debut of Ukrainian violinist Valeriy Sokolov as he performs Samuel Barber’s lyrical Violin Concerto, along with the return of American conductor Thomas Wilkins.
