OCE Duo Live!

OCE Duo is Steve Clarke and Scott Nieman, founding members of Other Country Ensemble. OCE features veteran musicians from the Twin Cities, performing traditional music from the northern Mediterranean region ranging from Spanish Sephardic to Greek and Turkish music, and original compositions inspired by the regions. We tell tales of the history of the music from 600 A.D on and the fusion of sounds that spread through the Mediterranean, as well as the instruments we perform. We performed at the MN State Fair in 2023 to a very large audience on the International Bazaar Stage, and this past summer we were given a standing ovation for a highly energetic set at the Walker Ethnic Festival.
