Doors Open Minneapolis is a new weekend-long event on May 18-19 that allows the public free, behind-the-scenes access to buildings in the City of Minneapolis that are architecturally, culturally, or socially significant.
Greeters are needed for 4 hour shifts at each participating venue. You will welcome and register visitors, and be ambassadors for this great new civic program.
You get to choose which venue you would like to work! Sign up early to pick your most interesting venue!
You will receive a free Doors Open Minneapolis t-shirt and get ‘front of the line’ VIP access at all other venues. In addition, the first 100 volunteers to sign up will receive a free book: AIA Guide to the Twin Cities.
In addition to your shift(s), you must attend ONE information session, either: Thursday, April 25th 5:30 pm, Saturday April 27th 10 am or 3 pm, or Tuesday, April 30th 8 am. Please email josh@doorsopenminneapolis.com with the date you are attending.
