The 2025 Plan’s MiX Committee focuses on bringing people within our community together to think about innovative ways we can work together to create an extraordinary downtown, city, state and region.

LAUNCH A CIVIC FESTIVAL OF IDEAS AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT

An annual festival will bring visitors, innovative thinking and civic energy to a city already noted for its citizen involvement. The festival will focus on creating a better future for all – locally, nationally and globally.

Initiatives:

• Minneapolis Idea eXchange – The MiX is an annual event that brings people from all different parts of our community together to engage in conversations that blend cultures, stir thoughts and kindle solutions. MiX includes discussion panels, interactive workshops, entertainment and exhibitions that help attendees connect, collaborate and innovate in an effort to keep our community engaged and looking toward the future.
